Summary:
This comprehensive 3-day course provides expert DigitalMedia™ system design and commissioning training for pro AV integrators, designers, engineers, and programmers resulting in the DigitalMedia™ Certified Engineer (DMC-E) certification. Note that this course includes DigitalMedia™ Design certification as the first day of the course. If you are registering for DMC-E, do not register for the DMC-D course.

This course covers:
Selecting the infrastructure for DM
Copper vs. Fiber
How to build a DM system
How to terminate DM cable and CresFiber® (hands-on lab)
How to commission a system using the front panel
Using DM Tools in Crestron Toolbox™
Ethernet topology of DM and how to configure it
What you need to know about Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (rSTP)
Programming a DM system in SIMPL Windows™ and VT Pro-e®
Understanding, identifying, and correcting the most common (and not-so common) installation issues
Advanced troubleshooting techniques using DM Tools and Console Commands
You will need:
A laptop PC running Windows XP or Vista or Win 7 (with administrator rights), Adobe Flash player V10 or later,
You must be either a Consultant, System Designer or an authorised Crestron dealer, technology partner or independent programmer to attend this course.
